Terms of Service

Effective: July 20, 2026

CardSnipr is a discovery, monitoring and portfolio-estimation tool. It does not sell cards, act as a marketplace, guarantee listing accuracy or provide financial advice.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using CardSnipr, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement. If you use CardSnipr for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

2. The service

CardSnipr helps users create trading-card watchlists, compare marketplace listings with user-defined criteria, receive alerts and maintain estimated portfolio values. Features, supported games, marketplaces, scan intervals and limits may change as the service develops.

3. Alerts and price estimates

Listings can be incomplete, delayed, changed or incorrectly categorised. Identity filtering reduces irrelevant results but cannot eliminate them. Portfolio values are estimates and may not reflect condition, liquidity, fees, taxes, shipping or the price actually obtainable. Always inspect the original listing and independently verify a card before buying or selling.

4. Marketplace relationship

CardSnipr is independent from eBay and other referenced marketplaces, publishers and grading companies. Purchases, payments, returns and disputes occur directly between you and the marketplace or seller under their terms. Names, marks, listing content and card images remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for safeguarding your account. You must not attempt unauthorised access, evade limits, interfere with scanning, upload unlawful material, probe other accounts, resell access, or violate applicable law or third-party rights. Notify support@cardsnipr.com if you suspect account compromise.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans renew according to the interval and price shown at checkout. Stripe processes payments. You may manage or cancel through the billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Taxes may apply. Mandatory consumer cancellation and refund rights are not limited by these Terms.

7. Your content

You retain rights to content you upload and grant CardSnipr a limited licence to host, process, resize, back up and display it solely to operate and secure the service. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload it.

8. Beta service and availability

During beta, features may contain errors, change without notice or experience downtime. We may impose reasonable capacity limits or pause functions to protect users, marketplaces or infrastructure. We do not guarantee every listing will be discovered or that an alert will arrive before another buyer acts.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, CardSnipr is provided “as is” and “as available.” CardSnipr is not liable for marketplace transactions, missed listings, inaccurate estimates, seller conduct or indirect losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

10. Suspension, termination and changes

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, security risk, non-payment or legal necessity. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may update these Terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes when required.

11. Contact and applicable law

Questions can be sent to legal@cardsnipr.com. These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the CardSnipr operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country. Courts and dispute-resolution bodies have jurisdiction as provided by mandatory law.
